I was caught up by this phrase for a whole yesterday.
I saw somewhere it's Diwali and I couldn't let go of that night when we were walking to Niki's house after work ('it's only 5 minutes' more than 20) and fireworks started over football playing ground. And one of the guys, youngest, said to me 'it's Diwali, you know?'.
of course I had no idea.
And he said 'like Indian new year'
And the night went on
And last night one girl was wearing Indian dress to team event, and she said to someone: 'today is big celebration for Indians, you know'.
and I knew
and I can't stop thinking about it
